Description
This painting portrays the human body not as a taboo but as the physical, tangible part of ourselves. These friends draw strength from their diversity to normalise the human body, the “container” assigned to us as humans, and to celebrate our emotions that go far beyond physicality.
What can we do to welcome sexual diversity in our society? The sexual diversity and the nudity that instil prejudices and fear in those bound by an outdated cultural legacy is itself tied to a religiosity that overlooks human needs and diversities.
This painting portrays the human body as the physical, tangible part of ourselves. Nudity isn’t a taboo, nor are individual sexual preferences. These friends draw strength from their diversity and share it to normalise the human body, the "container" assigned to us as humans, and to celebrate our feelings that go far beyond physicality.
