In “Surreal Girl”, the face is no longer human, but an assembly of organic elements. Roots, fruits, flowers, and fish compose a fragmented identity, where the boundary between inside and outside dissolves. The eye suspended between the clouds and the flower with the central pupil evokes an altered perception, an opening towards an extrasensory dimension. The face is now part of the ground, absorbing the lifeblood of nature and allowing itself to be transformed. It is a representation of fertile chaos, of the reshuffling of identities and meanings.
