Description
“Symbiosis” is an immersion in a surreal microcosm, laden with symbolism.
The central being merges deeply with the surrounding plant world and seems to connect with the living beings that inhabit it, speaking of transformation and regeneration. The humanoid face presents alienating features, but also features that are distinctly symbiotic with nature: the large, distorted eyes suggest emotional tension, a sense of vulnerability and fear, while the third eye on the forehead evokes introspection, the acquisition of a new awareness, spirituality, and the ability to “see beyond” the visible, beyond appearances. The dragonfly wings evoke the desire for elevation and freedom, complementary to earthly roots. Here, there is a vision of nature as a sacred and intricate place, a refuge, but also a chaotic and mysterious environment, just like our mind. It is the celebration of a new balance, a transcendence of individuality in favour of a total connection with the ecosystem. It is the representation of a being who has accepted his own becoming, who wanted to transform himself, overcoming the pain of the past to embrace a new existence symbiotic with the surrounding world.
