Hybrids

The “Hybrid” series narrates an evolutionary journey, both physical and psychological, social and spiritual. Mutation represents an inner journey, a transformation of consciousness that leads to introspection, like a bridge between the individual and the cosmos, between the past and the future, between what we are and what we could become. These paintings are an invitation to see beyond the visible, to recognise the beauty of change despite suffering, to imagine a future in which humans no longer feel like masters of nature, but an integral part of it. With this series, I want to create a world in which the distinction between human and plant, between individual and collective, between consciousness and nature dissolves into a poetics of hybridisation.
