Description
Creating this series, I experienced the pleasure of drawing deliberately irregular, almost jerky, random, and continuous lines. Then, letting go of my thoughts and activating my vision, I began to fill in and characterise those lines.
“Imaginary Scapes” was born after the “Borders and Paths” series.
The choice of graphite pencil was dictated by the desire to have greater mastery of my hand, even when making mistakes. To have precise yet messy markings, and to play with the pressure of the pencil on the paper. To use its versatility in shading.
